My wife (MinieMe) and I were invited down to Prince William Co. for a Saturday hunt by Steve in Va. We got an early start from the heat, and made it to the old roadbed.I found a button which quickly exploded in my hand's but you can still make it out,my first Staff Button. With the Sharp's I also found 3 "Johnson and Dow .44's within a a few feet of each other, again my first for the collection. An 186? IH penny was found too along with the camp lead.Thank's for looking.

Great finds Joe !!! Man it was hot as HE!! yesterday!

Great Hunt!
Lots of nice lead, that button reminds me of the coin cutout pieces :'(
Stay cool

Nice Joe! ya tore it up buddy! :headbang:
I can't believe all the gilt on that blown up button buddy. We should hunt before summer is over. Congrats on your first staff.

Great hunt Joe. I know about the exploding buttons only too well. I wish these landowners who are "saving the relics for their grandchildren to find' could see a button disintegrate in someones hands and they would realize that the buttons will not bee there for anyone to find (even if they wanted to hunt). HH, Quindy.

I am jealous of your finds. They would sure make my day if I found them. Congrats.

Congrats on your finds. I know all to well about them exploding buttons. Last year I found a beautiful button at the bottom of my hole. And just when I went to pick it up it disintegrated right before my eyes. All I had left to show was the back.

Great bunch of CW relic finds there ! Gotta love it ! Happy $th MaineRelic

They look so cool when they come out of the ground white like that!! :icon_thumleft: WTG!

Great recoveries Joe!!! Very nice additions to your collection.

ALRIGHT JOE! You RACKED UP on the Sharps buddy!! I would rather dig a handful of those any day than a handful of Minies so congratulations and they all come out with that pretty white patina. I'll be seeing you soon buddy, definitely before the summer's out! :occasion14: :icon_thumleft:

Nice digs Joe, I like those pistol bullets.

Excellent button...you lucky dawg. I guess I didn't find all the horseshoes! :laughing7: Had a great time :)

Nice hunt and the finds are great! Awesome that the wife goes with you. Cool you hooked up with a buddy. HH, Mike
