Camp near the Arkansas River headwaters

Between Leadville and Climax. The Arkansas starts not far from here, and found one spot where I could stand with a foot on either side of it. Starting to feel like fall up here, but no frost yet. Had to sit out the daily rain shower and today's menu was 30 minutes of rain mixed with sleet. Cleared off with lower 40's in the night though.

My last trip out was heading over Fremont after I ate in Leadville. It was after 9pm I think when I went up that way and there was a nice rain shower that night. I imagine when I head out again I should maybe see some of the aspen start to take hints of change.?
