Can anybody help me with the Library of Congress???

I have a catalog of maps that I would like to order from the Library of Congress, it gives their numbers but I can't find the webpage to order from. Thanks for the help.

I don't believe you can purchase copies of items unless they already have them for sale in their "shop on-line" area. Now if you are there doing research you can make copies on their copy machine, at least that's the way it was when I used to go there to do research, which was a long time ago.

If you are trying to buy the "Atlas of Treasure Maps in the Library of Congress" there have been many editions and it is readily available on the aftermarket. If you insist on buying it from the government it is available when in print from the Government Printing Office and you can get a free copy of their catalog by writing to them or visiting their website. exanimo, siegfried schlagrule

Most likely I can't help this topic - - I have not tried dealing with the LOC.

BUT I have a relative - retired military - who tells me to visit & use the library you must have a referral letter from your congressman/senator & then you will be paired with a staffer of LOC to retrieve what you are looking for.
