Can anybody tell me how you delete a post .....

I accidentally posted my announcement about Queen Elizabeth's reign (longest ever in England ) in today's finds .
I contacted the site administrators to move the post - some hours ago - but if anybody here can tell me how to
delete the post I'd be grateful !

A post, you click on edit post,click delete and check the box that says delete message on the left, then click delete post on bottom right. If you don't type anything in for the reason the whole post will go away. I do it all the time when I change my mind about dumb stuff I posted!

if you mean a thread you started? I think that has to be done by a mod.

No member can delete the original post of any thread they start, software will not allow it, only mods and admins can delete opening post of a thread.

Argentium, I moved your thread to "everything else" forum...

when you need a post deleted/moved hit report to moderator and say please delete or please move.

I don't know if I got the PM, If I did TH had already taken care of it.
I don't remember the report though.

Yes you could PM Me. If I 'm here I can get it very fast that way.


of course with PM's a Link or very good Directions to the Post are needed.

some seem to think i can read minds when they say "delete my post " with no more details
