The other day on I-4 here in Florida I saw a car that had 4 of those donut type spare tires on it cruising along like anything. You live long enough you see too much!
 
IQ of 20 will explain it.

I'd call that the real size of something, compared to the four wished-for sizes.

There is no explanation for any of that. The spare is of course useless but the build to modify to carry the full size spare is probably his next paycheck or two.
The Jeep is way too high to be functional 3 1/2 to 4" of lift is all you can do to improve any clearances for suspension Any thing more than that and you have to assume they are compensating for Size as previously mentioned :)
 
The spare is dehydrated.

Just add water prior to use...
 
Sure, I can explain it. The tire is so damned high in the sky it only LOOKS small! It's actually the same size as those nearer to terra firma, don't ya know! ╦╦C
