Anyone know what this could be? It’s thin brass, and appears to have been stamped out when made. I dug it on a colonial to Victorian era field.
At first I was thinking it could be half of a scabbard tip, but not sure. Any ideas?

It’s just really hard to know, it could be a piece of so many things.
