Thank you for your help. My buddy found this in vicinity to a cannonball. He went where no one else dares to go. The thickest brush... How he detected in there with an 11" coil, blows my mind.

After looking at it closely, is that a King's American Regiment button?

Hi Gio, I cannot help you with the button, but I think most would agree the "weird pipe" is actually the pour spout from an antique tea pot. Congrats on the great finds, Sub

New Brunswick Regiment, War of 1812 era.

That's a decent find. 10 years ago I hunted a site we were digging them and to my surprise a $4,000 Rev War cartridge plate popped up.

Anywhere you dig that 1812 stuff there's a good chance there will be Loyalist, and where there's Loyalist very good things tend to happen. Spanish silver

wouldn't be a stranger on a site like that either.


Check your pewter buttons close!
