Can Anyone Identify I have No Idea

Hi I found this Rock today in the Nevada Desert just laying there. What made me pick it up was that the covering of the rock seems to be orange/white hard glass like covering that hides something that is also black glassy shiny looking. There is something black within it. Its a pretty heavy rock about four to five times the size of an almond. Its pretty big

My best guess would be a mini alien head, or a rock...

Trust me that wont be the only weird rock you find lying around the Nevada desert I live there too not too sure but it looks very worked and polished by the pictures maybe dropped out of someones pocket, one of those healing stones? It looks like white and black quarts being replaced by a secondary mineral if you do research on the area you will probably find out the orange mineral.

It is a cool looking rock I collect some myself it looks like it was by water and kind of polished over time but you are wise to share it cause you never know Thanks for sharing it!!!!!

Last week I found a big smooth amethyst looking rock at the beach. Upon closer examination it was amethyst stained quartz. IE, fake amethyst. Some kid lost it. I think that's what you also have, something someone previously lost.
