BEYOND THE MAP'S EDGE - MY ONLINE WORKING SOLUTION ATTEMPT
Hi everyone,
Saw Gold and Greed on Netflix and fell into Justin Posey's new treasure hunt: Beyond the Map's Edge. Thought I'd give this as an online go here and don't think I have the capabilities to get out to Wyoming and personally hunt at the moment. Do fear every passing day is a missed opportunity to do so. If these clues happen to help anyone reading here find it, would really hope in you can share the Dragon Bracelet? I am born year of the Dragon and am very picky when it comes to art/pieces. It would be an such a special touch/honour and forever appreciated. That Dragon bracelet is specifically the one that inspired me to try and help the community out here. Saw lots of posts online trying to decipher the poem and associate the landmarks. But they seemed all little scattered or tractionless for some of them. Here is my attempt at it.
In any case, to happy treasure hunting....HERE WE GO!
Anything stated here are merely my own personal online gatherings/speculations. It is not suggested you follow any of this as (treasure hunting) advice.
However, choosing to doing so would be at your own risk.
BACKGROUND FOR JUSTIN POSEY'S COVER ART AS PER LEFT MOUNTAIN WITH "EDGE" WHICH CUTS OFF THE "M" IN THE TITLE
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridger_Wilderness
This is Wind River and it winds through here down to our (Eventual) destination. The cover art is split because Wind River runs right long the CONTINENTAL DIVIDE (which is actually the map's edge; which is why I think we're shown a map of ALASKA). Alaska resides on the side of the treasure (west of the Contintental divide). There may be something to do with aligning the Alaska map up with etc, but that would be beyond my immediate capacity and saw other's attempting this online.
BOOK COVER ON WALMART
2) Assuming you'll make (100 miles or so?) drive down through Wind River canyon (or Jackson hole) to Sweet Water river (where you can cast your pole and fish; apparently a legendary fishing ground).
3) Ursa east (assuming sky constellation possibly visible there if early enough) means you can take highway 220 take (north) east on the river to the ancient gates. This is also known as Devil's gate along the Sweet Water river.
Her FOOT OF THREE AT 20 DEGREE could be these three landmarks (footings) east of Devil's Gate
GOOGLE IMAGE ( I added the Yellow circle for visual reference)
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/great...-landscape-maps-of-gsphl--344736546451118244/
4) Return her face means you have to turn around and go back west where you came from (Devil's gate). Am going to assume the bride in all the poem is the Sweet Water River/landscape.
5) Double granite arches bold refers to SPLIT ROCK mountain on your way back.
SPLIT ROCK MOUNTAIN (Google)
6) As you come back you'll reach SOUTH PASS. Based on everything, am assuming this general area or just past it is essentially the finishing search point.
The maps' edge is not a state line, but the CONTINENTAL DIVIDE line aka Wind River + South pass.
WIND RIVER/SOUTH PASS INTERSECTING SWEET WATER RIVER (Google)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweetwater_River_(Wyoming)
The treasure could be around or just west (and south?) of that intersection as that would be "BEYOND THE MAP'S EDGE" on your way back along the river. Imagine this intersection is considered"sacred" area (at least Wind River is if I'm not mistaken) due to it's settler's history, and general calm and silence there?
- THE COMPASS Logo on Justin's book cover cuts off SOUTH WEST and portions of the EAST suggesting that area is beyond the map's edge and where you should be looking where the three rivers intersect. On the ALASKA map, we can also see North, south east and south west (the largest portion) are shown as being beyond the edge and mimicing this river intersection.
LOGO ON JUSTIN'S WESBITE
The logo on the website aligns with this (the white area is UTAH). The arrow is not your path to the X but a river (South pass? around highway 287 and south of there?) hinting it's southmost portion of/along the South pass. I really don't have the experience or feet on the ground to suggest anything beyond this point. Hopefully, some Wyoming locals can help us out a little here based on everything here?

Justin mentions it's walk/dog friendly, so it should be a calm and safe area and not too far off one of the major highways. Locals may know of some settler landmarks or unique natural landmarks that would be good to hide treasure, but not be sought by general hikers.
I don't have it recorded or noted here, but on NETFLIX, he's shown opening a safe with a code near the end of the show. I'm going to personally speculate the combinations is the number of steps/meters left and right from that river intersection to the treasure (or some form of coordinate combination). More experienced treasure hunters can hopefully make more sense of the numbers against all available information/findings.
Remember he also adjusted the clock to 3 or 4:20 or something as well.
Perhaps when you can reasonably find this treasure by if you start early/dark morning and are on schedule, or how long it'll take to walk, or a serving as general area to scout? (pure speculating here). It could also suggest QUADRANTS ON A COMPASS. 3rd or 4th quadrant at 20 degrees respectively to find the treasure (using step/meters count from safe code?), which is consistent with the Southeast being cut off from the book cover which would put you beyond the edge (from a west start)***

If I was able to get down to Wyoming (from Canada) and spend some time there...this is where and how I would personally spend my day looking for Justin's (supposedly still hidden) treasure SE + slightly SW past wind river for the day (ideally a few days if it were up to me). If any of these speculations or suggestions above happen to help a an ambitious treasure hunter find it (or at the very least get closer), you're an absolute legend!
With spring underway, am sure a lot people could go looking for it soon. Hope it's an amazing adventure for those who try this year! Do keep in mind, these are all just personal theories based on my own online research after being inspired by the show and are not being suggested as facts for anyone to follow. I just wanted to try and help be a part of experienced hunter's tales as it's just not within my current capacity or experience to get out there. However, really love riddles and finding supporting data to try and solve them.
Good luck to all and any treasure hunters out there! Hopefully this post isn't beyond this thread's edge!

- The logo on his site is actually the Utah North East corner. The treasure should be in Wyoming (as per legal disclaimer on his site which governs the property saying it'll be governed by Wyoming law).
- Shadowed sight means you need to start your day early with sun behind mountains as it's probably quite the trek (driving) starting a bit north. The journey starts in the Bridger Wilderness as per image below. Alot of people online were looking to link his book cover to a location and putting other states, so I really took the time to try and nail this one down. Although, and importantly, it's just our starting point, not the finish in this theory.
