can anyone tell me about hunting at Fort Matanzas

Anyone know about hunting the area around Fort Matanzas?I know I can hunt at the fort but what about in the water where the waterway dumps into the ocean and the banks?Has it ever been filled in with rock because theres rocks on the bottom but not like from a quary.the only access is kayak or swim.lol

stay away from ALL NPS area!, you can hunt on the beach side. But when you go down the
Beach Ramp at matanzas. stay very close to the water at LOW tide when detecting south of the ramp.
do NOT go pass the Bridge. North of the beach ramp is very good. be very careful on the ICW side,
NPS have area's there to. Washington Oaks State park change the rules again, no detecting on the beach there.
Unless....... you lost something, and you have to call the ranger station ahead time, before detecting.
