IMO, about what you paid for them.

Na dude you tripping the 3 1909 V.D.B pennies could get 8$ to 10$ a piece

Sounds like you already know your stuff.

Depends on how you look at that. Your right but so is cudamark. You haven't sold them yet, and you have to figure time in selling them. It all depends on how you figure it. You didn't get hurt but your not going make bank on it either. Still though, if you were looking for those you got a deal. Pre 2009 they were bringing a lot more. There were buyers paying a premium to build hundred year sets to sell. 1909 to 2009.

The $10 was a good price but $20 is tops for these coins because they're low grade, common and the 11-D is damaged.

"Could" being the operative word here. Take it down to your local coin store and see what they offer you for them. "Could" you get more for them? Sure, there's bound to be someone who will pay top dollar for something they don't have. It happens all the time. If you were looking to buy them and make a profit, I wouldn't count on it, but, I hope you do. :icon_thumright:

I have no idea what those are worth...To me it would be a great $10 spent to try and fill in the blanks! I love finding the wheats and IHP's.. I just think it's fun to pull history out of the ground or get them in change.

Have Fun,

Kace

You might get more 'value' out of that collection if you donated it to the Boy Scout counselor for the Coin Collecting merit badge; and work with that person on an education session to describe and distribute the coins.
Don.......
