Can I get some help with this smelted piece of slag looks I melted some ore just dnt know what came of it does anyone recognize this .

is it magnetic? Looks a lot like the chunks of raw silica me and my bro used to find along the train tracks. Hard to tell from the blurry pic. Take more pics with something like a coin for scale.

It looks like slag to me and if that's the case smelting slag would only produce another piece of slag.
