Can I MD here?

Hi all,

I live in southern California and thought that I read somewhere that you can't MD at state parks. Are state reserves the same thing? I'd like to MD at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve and I even called their office and asked a worker there if I could. She said yes, however I wasn't sure if she really knew what she was talking about considering it is a state reserve. Can I get some clarification on this....

I've been to most of the state parks in So. Cal., (And paid parking fees), Nobody has bothered me. I don't get to San Diego much though.

I would look up the laws for myself first. Then if there was nothing on the books I would've just gotten the name of the person who said "yes" and remembered it in case I were harassed.

My opinion is to get the name of the person that said it was ok then if someone bothers you about it just tell them who gave you the ok.

Check the laws first and if given permission make sure you have a name
