Hi all,

This is my first post on TreasureNet, though I've been lurking for 6 months or so now. :hello: What a great forum!!

I was hoping someone could dowse this property for me. I have permission to hunt the entire area in blue, and can most likely obtain permission to hunt the area in yellow as well. I've already done a lot of MDing right around the house but haven't had much luck. The property is 10 acres, so I was hoping someone might be able to narrow down the areas I ought to hit next. Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the response Teleprospector! I'm heading to this site later today and hope to get a couple hours in with the detector. It's trashy going over there though, as this property was right on the edge of the May 1999 F5 tornado that came through OK and it's full of debris. I'll let you know if I have any luck. Thanks again!

Red circles are for loose surface coins, red Xs lost jewelry.

In 1980 our town was ravaged by 7 tornadoes in one night. The day before my mom had taken her
Wedding ring off and placed it in her dresser drawer because of a loose setting. She put it there for
Safekeeping until she could get it taken for repair. Needless to say on June 3rd our houseand neighborhood

Hoping to find her lost ring. As a child we spent hours searching...i always wanted to be able to run to
Her saying we had found her ring. My mom dreamed of finding her ring up until her death. I still
Dream of finding her ring. I have in my jewelry box the matching band from her wedding set. It is
Platinum and ornate. I dont remember her ring very much since I was only 9 at the time. Does anyone
Think it would be possible to locate this ring with dowsing? I have a metal detector now also and my dad
Still lives in the same location.

A big tornado can pick up stuff and drop it many miles away. I grew up seeing the Palm Sunday tornado, must have been an outbreak of over 100 of them. I live NE of where 3 trailer companies used to be in Nappanee, that had the contracts for the trailers used for hurricane Katrina. Because of health problems, people were bringing lawsuits against them, even though FEMA provided the temporary housing. A tornado touched down, became nearly 2 miles wide at one point of the path, took out and leveled all 3 trailer companies. They all were close to each other, one across he highway, but down the street a ways. I took timed exposures of the sky, was about 10:30-11:00 PM. Went upstairs then to my room, had just put the camera away. It seemed rather dead still out. This noise started up, sounded like a large truck driving to fast bumping over 2x4s. It was the tornado lifting about 2 roads west and over a couple blocks toward SW which is the direction of Nappanee. It carried stuff for 20 miles, dropped everything around another city. Here are my photos that I got uploaded to the channel 22 news website. A couple were taken before dark. .

I think it was in the spring of 2007, when moved here (from about 6 miles away) lived in a small town with nearly ghost town status. For the next 2-3 years couldn't find a gold ring (without any set stone) ordered from a catalog like jewelry stores use. After moving here the ring never could be found. It wasn't until making my new L-rods, which later had with me the last trip to Arizona.

Several times my rods went to the corner of a box on a shelf. Inside found a smaller box right in the dowsed corner. Discovered the ring actually in the corner of a box, a small fold down lid type some gemstones were shipped to me inside. Corner of this box, had been in the corner of the dowsed box. Also a nugget style blank ring I ordered, but later forgot about that, so found another ring didn't know about.

The gemstone next to the ring I dowsed, is a ruby cab from India. I tried to mount a smaller stone just like it, but broke a prong off the ring. Decided not to try it myself and let the jewlers mount them. The third ring has a 9 carat black star sapphire. I successfully mounted this stone on the ring. It was never lost, have worn the ring many times to various places.
