Can you check my new pics and let me know if that is what you think it is? I looked at all 2500 and I'm not sure if that's quite the same. If you are sure, that is good enough for me!! Let me know

one thing to keep in mind , much of what you see pics of have been cut to reveal the banding. There are as many shades of blue in the agate family as there are in the paint world. I have a 30 pound chunk of yellow jasper.... its not even yellow colored. It is green . but that is what it is and you only know after grinding the surface layer that the yellow is revealed. If you do facebook there is a group on there that has many of the top "specialists " on there. It is called Rocks , Fossils , and Minerals Identification. post your pics on there and they will tell you what it is ... they ID some amazing stuff. But a head up. Only post one thread about it on there , don't want to agitate them and try and remain as quiet as you can . Just let them post for a day or so , unless they ask. They remind me of school teachers. Good luck

I love rocks more than i love most people. I have enjoyed them since i was old enough to walk and i am now 55 years old. I collected over 3 tons of them in 2013 alone , because we weighed them. Many people collect more than that. Rocks are awesome. People say i have rocks in my head , but i am ok with that... Agates are as unique as people are , no two alike. In most types of rocks , the looks change with the change in location. Take arrowheads for example. Most are made of chert , but there are many different looks and patterns ( we are not talking shape ) ... people help to identify them by location as to what type of chert. That is because chert in one area looks different than chert in another area. just as an example. The physical properties of the material are the same , but the colors change with the associated minerals in a particular area. Just keep looking , you will never find enough !!!!
