Need better pictures and need to know the size, what is the length and width, it is really hard for someone to identify something with less that good pictures and no deminsions.... If I try to blow your picture up it falls apart quickly and is blury..

I will put different pictures on but believe it is a Saxon pin head
 
Okay, still need measurements, a coin or other object doesnt help like actual measurements do....

Here's what you have to do. Place a ruler on a piece of paper and photograph the object straight down and 2 shots of the side 90 degrees rotated. Make the picture focused properly, about 300dpi resolution and a max of 700dots across then the guys that know about that type of stuff will give you their expert opinion. It's a broken earring from the early to mid 19th century. I have quite a few different ones and if you like, I can post a picture of a similar one.

It seems to be to heavy to be an earring but it would be nice to see the pics cheers James..
