Posted these on hard rock mining forum, but got no answer, can you all help me? Thought first one was a gold vein, but doesn't appear to be any gold in it.

Appears to be massive milky quartz with mica and or pyrite. The red staining will be due to iron oxide from the decay of the pyrites. As to gold~ if there is any you'd probably have to crush and pan it but most likely any free gold would be micro fine and locked in the pyrites. Colorful :)

Sorry, it wasn't obvious in the picture, but the sparklies are tiny gemstones, look like diamonds but aren't of course. Very little mica, and the stripe is tiny gems. Confused here !

Hehh, don't be confused. Just get a closer picture. Possibly microcrystalline quartz if you say its gemmy. I can only speak for what I think I see.... from those pictures I'm making my best guess. Jewlers loops don't work so well on pictures ;)
