Someone will Id it Rock and Gem forum would be faster thats a cool looking rock for sure......Tommy

Speaking as a longtime rock-hound and mineral hunter/collector... I agree with G.I.B. and Goodyguy. In particular, note that your rock shows what is called Conchoidal fracturing (like chips of glass). Your rock is one of the many-many-many varieties of Chert/Chalcedony. Chert is a catch-all term which technically includes Chalcedony. Chert is usually opaque, like your rock. Chalcedony usually is a least "somewhat" transparent. Check the pictures at the Chalcedony link posted by G.I.B. Also, for Chert:
