The mintmark doesn't look right. Maybe it's just the picture. The D looks like it's in a dark circlular indent. Assuming it's a real buff, I'd be looking in the neighborhood of VF-20. Worth about $30?

the coin is dirty, the same dirt around the mintmark can also be seen around wording...UNITED STATES
assuming it is real....lol
who would fake this coin?

I am just trying to let you know that I have never seen a dirt pattern around a mintmark in a nearly-perfect circle. As I look at the other dirt-covered areas, I just don't see the same type of circle/square/whatever patterning.

I would say VF. It appears to me that there is rim damage on the obverse at the "LIBERTY". Also the rim is worn pretty much below that point.
If these were not issues, I'd give it an EF because it has good, crisp details. Nice acquisition. :thumbsup:

I go at fine, too much wear at the bottom of the date and not enough details in the indians head feathers for anything else.
