So, I went to a garage sale last weekend and found a couple of prints--I think they are wood block prints and probably reproductions?
One of the prints is by Asa Cheffetz and titled "Early Morning", a typical New England scene. It was printed by the Sandy Hill Corp., of Hudson Falls, New York and given as a Season's Greetings card.
This other print is the one I am having trouble deciphering the signature on.
It looks like "Jonise Z(or V?) Stahl"? And it is stamped and then signed in pencil.
I can't find any information on this person though, so I am assuming I have the signature wrong.
See what you guys think and I really appreciate any help with this! Oh, and I gave a whole $1 for both so if they aren't worth much, I'm not hurting too bad .
