We found this tonight in the coin star reject bin.
(61) 25 cent
(9) dollar
(5) 2 dollars
(16) ten cents
(4) five cents
Nothing old or silver but, you should have seen the look on my sons face as he was scooping it out and loading it into his pocket.
Anything I should be looking for in newer canadian coins?

Congrats on the haul. :occasion14: Treasure is where you find it.

Only thing I can think of is 1981 and prior canadian nickels. They're made of 99.9% nickel so Its a good bullion investment. 1968 was the last year for Canadian silver, in case you were unaware. And even then most 68's you'll find are pure nickel and not 50% silver. Using a magnet will tell the difference.

Don't know much about varieties, but I've had luck selling Canadian at about 1/2 to 2/3 face value on CL. A good way to offset finding it in your rolls too!
