I have posted a couple time's of the finds from this construction site. I go there all the time because its close and it continues to produce. I have been on a mission for an Indian head cent from this site, but just no luck. This site has a lot of history, It's downtown which dates back to the mid 1800's if not older. Also on this road is the old High school 1915 - 1953 (still standing) and the train depot that was built in 1907-09 on the site of the original 1882 P&A depot.(still standing) The construction doesn't go all the way to the depot, but stops about a block short. This was obviously a very busy road the past 100 plus years. Has to be an Indian head somewhere!! Anyway, here is some of the coins and tokens I have found since I started hunting this site. A lot of wheat's, clad, and other artifacts are not pictured. Guessing maybe 20 wheat's that I have found here. Added couple bonus pics from the past of the area I'm hunting. The street is now filled with packed gravel, the sidewalks are now poured, so I only have whats left on each side of the sidewalks. I am hoping they finish up and take on another road project in the area.
