Cannon Ball Three Ringer and Buttons

Went back to the site where the three GW buttons were found after a all day rain storm. Every low button signal was a heart stopper. I guess this is how its going to be knowing that there might be a GW under the coil. The cannon ball came in at a high good signal with the MXT maxed out. It is the fourth I have pulled from this site. The three ringer was a real surprise, it is my first. Arty

Congrats on the cannonball Art! You have been finding cannonballs on this site - what about military buttons? Is there a design in the center of the small pewter colored button in the bottom/center of your pic?

I do believe your three ringer is a modern black powder bullet.

Fourth so far and yes military buttons from two wars, rev and war of 1812. There is a shield design on the front and odd makers marks on the back. It looks to be more of a cloth or leather rivet I would say. It is the the second I found. I wouldnt know about the three ringer. There is a mold seam and rifling. It is 9/16s wide.
