Cannonball or something else?

I have no clue what this is, found it at goodwill for $0.49. Mildly heavy and it has something(s) inside. Thanks y'all

I am absolutely certain that it is not a cannonball. It appears to be a (stone) Geode... which can have something that rattles around inside. Did you try the "magnet-test" to see whether it is made of iron or something else? (ALL of the "hollow" cannonballs in all of artillery history were made of cast-iron.)
