Can't believe what I didn't find.

To start off I'm just getting back into MD ing. Started off with a Fisher 1210x. about 15 years ago. About a month ago I decided to buy a Minelab xterra 50. My son is using the Fisher. Anyway, with the xtera, I have found some clad, lots of junk and about a pound of pull tabs. Decided to hunt a piece of property I have that had a house built in the late 1890's. I recently tore the house down, and if I can figure out how to reduce size of pics I will post a few. Well, I searched the site well for about 3 hours around where the house stood, around old trees, and along old drive. All I found was an old stainless butter knife. Could it be that the people that lived here were that tight with their coins? Thought for sure I would find something. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i'd look around walkway ,steps ,clothes line around a well if there is one,all around the front yard...in the old days the family spent a lot of time in the front yard,..no close neighbors.tree lines.Just step back and take a hard look,some ideas should pop up.

I was wondering considering the amount of bush and leaves- How close to the ground are you getting.?
Perhaps lower your discrimination a bit- should be digging some trash.

I did find some trash. Aluminum pie pans, and thin pieces of metal strips. Most of the leaves and brush are gone, burned off. Also i found a huge dump behind shed in 2nd pic. Looks like most from 60's & 70's. Thanks for the comments!

I have the 50 also, one problem that I was having was that my coil speed was too quick. Those things need a SLOW coil sweep. There has to be finds in there. They could be REAL deep though. I would start digging ALL deep targets at 6-8in or more. If anything hire a dozer and have 4 inches peeled off. OH ok im back awake!! Sorry just dreamin!!!
