Can't Get Any Better Than This...

Fresh LA gulf shrimp. Fixed some sauteed in lemon pepper, butter, Cajun seasoning & Italian bread crumbs for supper last night. This morn I peeled more and cut in half and made a big pot of shrimp & sausage jambalaya. Put up 5 qts of these monsters in the freezer.

Looks good from here. Ever do bacon wrapped shrimp on the grill? Put a slice of green onion in there, secure with a toothpick, grill and enjoy! You know where to find me for dinner.

Apparently the oil spill has not affected the quality of the shrimp in the region although it did caused a major economic crisis...taste as good as ever?

Had Crabs and Shrimp last night. Steak and Shrimp tomorrow night. I think we'll have Shrimp and Shrimp tonight. Living aboard has it's perks!

You all have me craving a "low country boil" from the shell house, too bad it's 12 hours drive away.
