Can't hunt - gotta do something!

So, I decided it was time to bottle the wine from 23 lbs of my neighbor's Concord grape vines. Back in September, they looked like this:



Today, we have:



23 bottles of wine set to age:



It's looking good now



Well, can't try out a new batch of wine without a little homemade pizza.



Made many batches of beer, but this is my first attempt at wine from grapes. Bottle 24 wasn't quite full enough to cork, and so it had to be consumed as-is. My guess is it's pretty strong. After a couple glasses I didn't see anything wrong with L4S new duds...

Thank goodness it's going to warm up next week. I need to get out of the kitchen & walk off some of these extra lbs!

You really know how to hurt a guy posting pic's of that sumptuous food & drink

With the cholesterol having gone up a bit since Christmas. . . and now TWO Vegans
in the house. . . the meat freezer downstairs isn't like it used to be

I feel for you! I know what you're going through... Walk on over anytime - I'll light the grill for steaks, fry up some Italian saugage in bacon grease & we'll eat it with toothpics while sipping beer and waiting for the steaks to cook and the next batch of pizza dough to rise...

I don't drink wine, but if I did, I'd drink that! Looks good, I've got quite a few OTB relatives from Sicily who make their own wine, supposedly it's the best...but I'm the worst judge when it comes to that.
