capital H in the cave

I have found a capital H symbol in a cave, who could help me? what does it mean? how could I find its treasure?

Probably a random scribble meaning nothing. Or the first letter of "Harry was here", that the rest never got finished, or was eroded off.

Interesting.... It's interesting because not only does this "H" stand alone (Far right side of pic) but at the end of the "jibberish" is the last symbol an "R", "L" or what? I couldn't make it out for sure. If it is then the last 3 symbols are the same as mine H, L, R. The difference being mine is etched on a mud mound in a cave.

There was a time, in the not-so-distant past, that the common man didn't read or write. Like in the 1800's, it was not uncommon for a guy to sign his name with nothing but an "X". Or some other such scribble or letter he'd penned or learned.

So for those people who think random letters on the wall or tree some where mean "treasure", are going way overboard with treasure superstitions. And since when are treasures necessarily marked with a mark of any sort at all ? I mean, if you're intending to HIDE something, it would seem rather silly to then go put a mark there for the world to know, eh ?

Looking at it more closely I thing the string of letters is actually a name. The last name would be PHAHLE.
