Hello all I hope you've all been out swinging in this beautiful weather yesterday was a little cold that started out about 15 degrees but it warmed up nicely as the day went on
Two thirds of the BOB were out bartek and I
We tried a New spot that bartek had researched
Started out with a few round balls and buttons
Then a few Indians. I hear bart yell " I got silver "
He pulls a few barber dimes. Then I pull one 1907. Now I'll take that I said
And we moved on toward our goal spot a 1844 house that was there on every map until 1874 then gone woods now. W found a few cellar holes some stones and started hitting
Some older trinkets.a nicd copper pendant with the Lord's Prayer on it.
Today's take was.
1835 capped bust 1/2 dime ( my second same year )
Two Indians. ( getting dates )
Pendant
Three round bslls
6 buttons. One with a 46 on it ( need positive id it is pewter )
6 buckles
And a large copper coin no idea what it is yet. Cleaning it slowly.
And a painted horse in a glass horse rosette
And one star sapphire ring 14 k with a small diamond
Well thanks for reading hh gl.

Congrats on the capped half dime and other nice finds

Very nice. Congrats on some great finds.

Half dimes really get my attention,
(I found my first recently ).
That ring is beautiful.
Congrats on a really good hunt.

Looks like a good day to me!! Excellent finds!

Killer finds Charlie!

That little capped bust coin is super dooper sweet. Such nice detail on it, considering how old it is.

Congrats buddy.

Thank you research is key. But luck helps too

Cool finds for sure

Congrats on the Capped Bust half dime. Capped Bust silver is always a thrill to find. Unfortunately it happens to me very infrequently :dontknow:

Wow. What a hunt. Thanks for letting us see. Amazing, just amazing...

Real nice hunt. I'll bet you were a happy camper when that half dime popped out. You know, there are several varieties of those early coins, and a bunch of avid collectors after them. My local library had Valentine's book on variety half dimes until somebody stole it last year. You could call your local librarian to see if they have a copy. Those folk are generally very helpful. Good Luck !

Very nice Charlie. You have your ears on buddy for that coin when considering the stuff we sort through on a regular basis.

I've got to say I think the 9 inch coil helped a lot I've been using Bart's while mine is away from repair there's a big difference in sound between the 11 inch coil and the 9 inch coil on the deus imho

That 9" can weed out some great finds amid iron. I can't compare since I've never used the 11". Since switching, Bart and I have watched you become murderous with the Deus.

ECH SOME NICE FINDS , MAN THE RING IS KILLER

Outstanding finds...... the ring is sweet!

Nice ring, but sure love the half dime.
Congrats

Looks like that button is a 46th regiment British army pewter button! Maybe someone can back me up on that but either way its a killer find!Congrats on the half dime!
