Hit it up bright and early today after a night of drinking in Philly, needless to say I am very tired now. Weather was awesome in the morning but things got very windy and cold but that didn't stop Arty, Mom and I. We hit our coveted fields not expecting a whole lot more than we have already found. These fields seem to replenish themselves which is amazing. I was a little low on the button count compared to the other ventures 1 shy of 40
. I also found 2 toasty coppers. 2 Real nice War of 1812 Era Navy buttons and my first Capped Bust Half dime 1834 that oddly is bent on a 90 degree angle. Signals are getting more scarce but this place keeps producing over and over again. A bulky watch key winder a rectangluar ornate silver piece?, And my 3rd Nipple button. The nipple buttons are only coming from a small 30x30foot area possible an early shack or encampment. The amount of lead is also amazing Ive got pounds of it now. There must have been some kind of military presence in the area or they just hunted ALOT. Arty and Mom did very well also, something about spanish silvers, 1600's coppers and whatnot.... Can't wait to get out again. I have a few whatits also. The 90 degree angle pieces of copper with an eye and a pointy spot. Found a few but dont know what they are. Also the decorative piece of something looks old too. And some kind of TOKEN that says something about Corn and has a ship on the back. Pretty Cool.
