Cardboard coin boxes what do you do with them?

I have an almost waist high flattened pile of them in the garage and my trunk and back floor of the car is filled with them. Is it worth taking to the recycle yard where I sell my cans and bottles? Any idea how much a ton you get for cardboard

I dump 99% of my boxes into the community recycle bin. The other 1% gets used for ebay shipments.

For me it depends on the type of box. The resealable brinks boxes, I use to hold rolls of saved coins.... The ones with the holes in the bottom or ones that need to be destroyed to be opened, I flatten and bring to the community recycle bin.

Much like I close my garage door when I am moving coins between my car and my house, I just don't want to let any passerbys know that there may be large volumes of coins temporarily stored at my house. It's true that it's unlikely anyone is going to peruse my trash pile (or my recycle bin) to look for a reason to break in and rob me, but why take the chance as the amount of effort required to minimize the risk is neglible.
