iv ready many of good stories on here finally figured post. Trying to get my self and and sons out of the house more and was wonder on some places to explore and metal detect.

Check the laws first but I’d think the riverwalk would be a great place. There’s a few parks and if I remember correctly some fairgrounds there. I just don’t know if it would be legal.

when I was in Carlsbad several years ago, there was a public park that I noticed had one of those old slides that look like a rocket space ship. I believe those were popular in the later part of the 1950s or early 60s. So, if detecting is legal and the place hasn't been cleaned out, you might stand a chance at finding a silver or two there.
