Carved civil war confederate enfield I know it has a spoked wheel base it's hard to see in picture but it has a weird cut in the side of the base and on the top it's cut flat and appears to have a H cut into the top and a little dimple between base and the top any info would be great thanks. 20161002_094401.webp 20161002_094358.webp 20161002_094358.webp 20161002_094341.webp 20161002_094310.webp 20161002_094322.webp20161002_094322.webp

That's way cool. Gaming piece maybe. It's hard to say. Nice personal find. Congrats

To me it looks like a functional piece made for a specific purpose.

Just a WAG, but my first thought when I saw it was some sort of rifle nipple protector.

It looks like it was carved as a chess piece; perhaps a Rook.

Neat find :)
