✅ SOLVED Cast Zinc Thing and Round Stone

These items went into my pouch while digging near the top of a riverside hill. The metal object, rang in at a 42 on my Legend. Zinc? It is curious and heavy, crude outside thread, very solid. I can see the remnants of fancy floral designs on the sides. The bottom flange was once circular and appears to have been squeezed by something, presumably a vice or pliers to hold it fast while unscrewing the missing top. I'm thinking match safe, spice container type of thing but asking for opinions. Feels OLD. As a bonus....I found, while digging a target in the same spot, this round stone popped out. It is the most circular damn stone I've ever seen.

Yah....I'm digging a target and I reach in and pull this stone out. I sweep it with my coil thinking it was iron but it didn't make a peep. I thought to myself that it must be some type of clay game piece and stashed it away. The true target was a 1916 WB. My only two finds that day.
I was surprised when I realized it was actually a stone. It's 1.5" in diameter.

And FWIW, the very location is on what once would have been a prominent hilltop overlooking a bend in the Kalamazoo river.....the river was relocated 100+ years ago.
