Cat's eye opal?!

While cutting yesterday I found a real odd pattern IMO.
Not the best picture, but it looks and behaves quite similar to a cat's eye.
Small stone, though. Going into my personal collection.

I just do this as a hobby for now, I do sell on occasion though. Some of my stones have been set in jewellery.

cats eye opal. now there's one you don't see every day. Would make a lovely ring. & that boulder opal? WOW! one of my favorite rocks ever, & it is a beauty! as always, love your posts

Am not familiar with that one. I know Wyoming and Nevada have opal, though.
