Hello All,
Had just a killer couple short scouts over the weekend--and we WILL be back for more! Many other finds besides the ones mentioned below in the video, so I hope you'll enjoy.
Ended up recovering a Mississippi-style spur right before one field was plowed, so I'll be returning to that one ASAP! Then went to another field where I was hoping for some Civil War finds and got two, two-piece button backs and a cartridge box finial along with some shield nickels my buddy and I dug (3 of them)
Then started a new field with my beautiful wife (Tnet member diggergrl) and got an 1857-O half dime which was on edge in a spot littered with nails, a musket sling hook, and more--and unbelievably flopped out a nice 1876-CC Seated Quarter which locked right in as an 81 signal on the F75 even though it was a foot down. Also got a nice coin silver antebellum ring! When I got home I realized that one of the "pieces of can" I'd dug was in fact a flattened, cut down, and rust-encrusted second half dime!
Going back soon!
