Got out with the ole sniffster again.hit a bunch of cellar holes in his neck of the woods.
1st site gave up a civil war general service button,2nd site got the large tombac,a site or 2 later i got a nice iffy signal(iron in hole with it) out pops a big silver! a nice shape 1915-D Barber half full liberty on headband.last site i got a copper! umm its real close to the cut off date of our american large cents and i gotta ask if it can count as a large copper? 1859 canadian LC

yep like gleaner1 was saying 1859 large cents are very common but they still are the second year Canada got coins minted, i have seen a seen bag full of about 30 of those 1859 large cents they had bought.

Glad u guys did well,its tough out there now with all the ticks,horseflys and bugs,im definitly wearing more clothes after comming down with lyme.

That is a really nice looking Barber half. I also found one of those canadian large cents dating 1900. I thought I found my first large cent, but nope. Good job on your finds.
