I kno I'm gonna sound like one of your wives or moms couponing, but I didnt have a pinpointer and yesterday I chased my ass finding 19 bullets. We dont have a local detecting shop and I'm on vacation for 2 weeks and need one. I picked this up at harbor freight for 16.99 on clearance. It has a light and carrying pouch. And sensitivity adjustment. I have been able to hit a nickel 2 inches away thru my hand. So in short 16.99 for a pinpointer if it last a month or was worth it. Happy hunting and happy holidays. 20191222_093511.jpg 20191222_091546.jpg

Hey the way I look at it, if it works why knock it. They aren’t too complex to make. Heck I’ve built IR lights, and taken cameras apart to take the IR filters out to accept IR light. I’ve built so many electronics that this is something I’ve always wanted to try.

I bought one to use as a loaner until I got my older Garret fixed. That Cen Tech only worked for a few months before it took a dump. It's better than nothing though.

His is doing better than my F Pulse. At least it’s not falsing like mine, and going off for no reason. I’m sending mine back in for either a new one or reconditioned. I really want my Garrett carrot back, but the F75+ came with it so I can’t gripe too much. I’ve owned the F75 since they came out, and they are super sensitive to all non ferrous metals which is great for what we do whether it’s relic hunting, or con hunting
