I will say at first glance... to me it does not appear that old ... just by the "look".

I will say at first glance... to me it does not appear that old ... just by the "look".
I appreciate your input and thoughts I've been told it's shawnee ceremony piece but I'm not educated enough but I know the shawnee are good tribe . Me no use tomahawk like me fight me kill all Comanche lol . I like my natural herb of mother nature she's kind . That dirt smoking really might be to heavy on a man I'll pass lol
 
Plantain is called "white mans foot" as it arrived with Europeans. And seeing it meant non native influence.
Doubt very much A Shawnee used it for decoration , but it's the only thing I see in the piece pictured.
It has value. But scruples determine what value a foreign arrival has.

A Native American in Kentucky who has a small relics museum it's all relics museum told me that that's what it was it was a passover piece giving out at ceremony
