Since the weather was cold with light snow, instead of detecting, I went to the bank to cash in my coins and found a 2008 Silver Dollar and a Gold 10K Bracelet in the coin machine after my bad penny popped out and I threw it back in. The machine was still spinning with coins and no more rejects popped out. I pushed the "end" button and could see a silver dollar or half in there. I'm not sure how long those were in there, but when my receipt got jammed too, I ask the employee to help me get it and my coins out that didn't go through. She opened it up and I grabbed the rejects which included other junk (washer, nut/bolt, flat battery, Hong Kong coin, junk token) and the big silver and the surprise gold. Fantastic day at the bank!

Wow ! You killed it guy ! I found a Morgan Dollar in a coin counter once (blew my mind !)

Great finds! I always poke around in the reject slot when I pass a counting machine. In fact, today I picked up five Canadian quarters and three tokens at my bank!

I would have promptly informed the teller that these items were not mine to begin with.
You know, the responsible, mature thing to do.
The right thing.
I kid.
I kid.
Way to go, Guy!
