Hi all
I have not posted for a while so I am pleased to have a
couple of silver hammered to show you.
From the grass field.
1st a king Charles 1.1625-49 shilling badly clipped and has suffered a mighty hit and is
chipped and cracked, BUT the detail on the shield is fantastic.
2nd a King Edward 1V 1461-70 penny in very delicate condition.

Nice find Dave! I got one of those Charles 1st Shillings in 06 when I was there.
