Great find. I grew up in Quincy and the entire south shore is so developed that I would imagine it hard to find a good spot. There were some old wooded sites in Weymouth and Hingham but I would suppose down around Marshfield and Plymouth there may be more options.

You first have to have a MetalDetecting shop, to give this Professor of History anything in the shop to use, Pay for Breakfast and lunch and drive.
also, I gather information from customers that are successful, but some times it ends up being a goose hunt.
