This worked great on wine bottles it didn't occur to me to post here it until now. You will need a plastic coat hanger, one 4 inch square piece of rubber perforated drawer liner mat and a couple of paper clips along with a small heat source and small saw + cordless drill.

Cut the bottom straight section of the coat hanger out and discard the rest. Saw a narrow slot 3 inches long in one end of the piece that you just cut out.

From the mat cut one 4x2 inch and one 2x1 inch pieces. Slide the 4x2 all the way into the slot in the hanger piece at right angles to it half sticking out on each side. Next fold the other piece of mat in half and insert the folded end into the slot flaps extending in line with the rod not at 90 degrees to it on this one.

Partially straighten one of the paper clips. Holding the clip with pliers to prevent burns, heat the end until you just see it turning red. Push the heated end through the plastic rod. Avoid breathing the fumes or smoke that may occur when the plastic is melted. Now cut the clip leaving 1/4 inch on each side protruding from the plastic bend the ends around tightly to secure the mat in the rod. Repeat on the end piece. Seperate the two ends of mat that extend out from the end of the rod and press them flat to make a T. This is the bottom scrubber.

Use this with a cordless drill ONLY ( do not use with a corded type this is not safe around water ) roll up the flaps and insert into bottle. This worked well to lightly clean the inside of round bottles when used with a cleaning agent.
