cheapie pinpointer?

Has anyone ever used a stud finder (Home Depot or Lowes) for a pinpointer? Will it work ?

I don't think they'll work for the purpose you intend to use it for. there has to be something, somewhere on the internets that is under 50 bucks.

I got one I'll sell ya from Kelly co ,,free when you buy a new detector , I use for a stud finder.hasn't found a stud yet guzz1

You just can't beat a good pin pointer. I use the DetectorPro Uniprobe and worth every penny I paid to me to me. Target recovery is so quick and easy, quick recoveries means more hunting............

psst harbor freight about $15 clams (but put a duracell 9V in --- ditch the el cheapo bat that comes with it )
