Check Car Rental prices before travel

If your planning a visit to Hawaii you may not be able to get a car.
Rental prices can exceed $300 to $700 per day..
Other states are having increased prices also

I can see where they jack the $$$ "Due to COVID" need to clean after every use.
Cynical thinking here: They hire worker at $8.00 to spray sanitizer on steering wheel/arm rest-but say the have to detail the rental after every use......

I read an article that people were renting U-Haul pick ups and Vans in Hawaii as they were significantly cheaper than a rental car.

Yes I believe it but I’m confident that they will also catch on and raise rates
