I found this Friday in a farmers field. He was very nice to let me look for stone items. I found a handful of different things (Artifacts). I found this pretty little worked stone and havent found this color before in Ga. I sure would like to know what type it is. It is quite glossy and has some cool stripes running through it. I am sure it is a type of tool but I am interested in the type of material it is made from. Thanks, rock

Not being familiar with the geology of Ga I will still make a guess: chert.

Yeah I am sure it is. But still a strange color of it with the bands running through it. First for me with that type.
