Basketballer Yow of the Chinese team got disqualified for doping. He plays in the NBA over here but was kinda' threatened by the Chinese that he had better play for them as he is a Chinese citizen. Some say he didn't want to play for them anyway. But apparently he took some traditional Chinese herbal medicine for a cold and it had somethng illegal in it. Dang, too bad huh? No, Monty, it's not just you. Thank goodness there are reports that enlighten us as to the "politics" going on.

At least we have a 'heads-up.' I'm sick over the challenges of the Olympics. These kids train so hard for so long, and when they get there, it's all political changes. I frankly would love to see another Olympics be established among the free countries of the world. Let the communist countries hold their own.

By the way, why are countries not being openly identified as "communist" nowadays?

Do they (and half of the US) prefer "socialist?" I'm confused.

Why do we have to compartmentalize and segregate, and separate the world? Maybe we should have a Muslim Olympics and a Christian Olympics, and a Buddhist Olympics too? I honestly feel that this is Not what the world needs--not events which separate us out and classify people by government. PEOPLE are the ones who compete in the Olympics--Not goverments. And these people are Born into whatever government presides over their country of birth. They cannot chose where they are born.


If there is falsehood and "fixing" at the Olympics, then the multi-national committee can find it and expose it.
