I thought this was gonna be about something else. I had a teller tell me once that lots of Ikes get ordered for Chinese New Year - apparently they give them to the kids to celebrate or something.

Year of the Silver Eagle. Last year was year of the skunk. Although, if an earthquake happens soon, it will remain the year of the skunk.

Whichever it is, Chinese New Year doesn't start for another month...

I know that $2 bills are also on order a lot during CNY because they are lucky or are supposed to symbolize happiness.

Whenever we go out to eat at a Chinese restaurant, my wife's credit card has a bunch of 7's in a row which people comment is really lucky.
