That's a good way to start off the year. I managed to get about $45 in customer halves from a couple of different banks today but no luck for me. And the coin counter at my favorite dump bank was broken also. I think maybe I need to get me a good luck silver finding partner too.

Awesome job on the CWR Numismaniac! The other hand in the pic made me do a double take for a second. It's pretty neat having little ones to teach this hobby to.(I have a 6.5 and 5 Yr old that love this as much as I do)

Love those CWRs of halves!
I was just looking over my stats and realized that I have not found Ag halves in boxes or other MWRs since the end of October. I have some teller tray and other loose halves scores since then, but zilch from boxes or MWRs.
I don't really find CWRs of halves near me - most every bank I dump rolls at says people are looking for halves all the time.
Not only have the boxes been Ag-free, but even things like clad proofs and NIFCs have been missing from boxes lately. Just very skunky.
I don't do a lot of volume, but even a box or so per week over time should pick up a few stray silvers, I would think. Doesn't seem to be much Ag being dumped into the system lately that is getting by tellers. No doubt everyone asking tellers for halves has clued in a number of tellers who weren't already clued in.

I got my first silver of 2014 when I stopped by one of my fav banks on the way home from work today. I finished work early and got to the commercial drive thru around 1pm and the teller said they only had $4 in loose halves but someone was supposed to be coming by @ 2pm to drop off about $100 in halves. 
Well I gave her $60 and got the $4 in halves (all clad) and $56 in nickels and just parked in the bank parking lot searching my nickels, listening to todays ep of the Peter Schiff show on my phone and waiting for the hour to pass wondering if my time would be well spent. When I went back to the commercial drive thru just after 2pm they told me the customer dropped off $150 in halves and I asked if the customer brought in any other coins and they said just some small dollar rolls....no big dollars. So I bought the $150 in cwr's which yielded me 6 x 40%ers....4 in one roll (pic below). My handful isn't as nice as yours Numis but Im just glad I didn't wait around for an hour for nothing.
