Sapulpa ---- Night hunt Jacob found his first silver! does not even show 1/2 of what his face looked like!
I found a cilil war bullet. Jeff best thing was a silver braclet!

Today I found 12 dimes and 1 token my token was for a 20$ bill!

I took a little video of the all the boys detecting, Jeff is cking the video now!

This was Jacob, first seeded hunt and at the kids hunt today he found 3.86 in clad and 8 tokens candy, candy and a kite real nice one were his prizes!

wow that was some great digs look like you all cleaned the place out

WS, we did. Visited w/Monty for a bit. Look what he's wearing. I wound up w/2 Walkers in the silver half hunt and 14 silver dimes in the main hunt...alas no tokens. Also a handful of wheaties but no gold coin this time...but if you asked me if I'd do it again----in a heartbeat.

Well, folks, I just gotta jump in and tell ya what I got in the mail yesterday..............yea, like anybody has ever stopped me from interrupting....ha/ha

I GOT A HAT FROM THE LOUISIANA HUNT!! Yep.....compliments of none other than Warsawdaddy! Thanks, WSD! Just like in the last CTH, I sure wanted to be at the LBH. So..........now I have a t-shirt from CTH and a hat from LBH. Hey, Burdie, ya think I can get a some pants from CTH2? LOL

Hey, Burdie, my brother (lives in Lee's Summit, MO) was telling me he just had a new fangled toilet seat put in his bathroom...........at the insistence of his wife. Apparently at Lowe's, you can buy a heated toilet seat cover for $500........that washes your posterior.....plus has a bidet. Think that would fit in the outhouse? LOL Problem is, you'd have to start charging people to use it..........LOL Lordy, I can just see that now.....being installed in the Men's Room at the local bars there in Caldwell....LOL

Mel we have had heated seats for years here. You just give them a whole lot of hot sauce to drink and they swear they have a hot seat.

I wish I had that printed when we were hunting together. Good Lord what a story. Hey Monty now I know why we did all those zig zags to leave your house. He definitely is a wanted rooster in his neighbor hood.

Now you guys take it easy on poor old Monty, you know how sensitive I am! I only hunted one huntin Sapulpa and it was the gold/wheat cent hunt. Find a colored wheat cent and get a gold coin type thing. They kept calling those colored wheat cents a token so I was looking for tokens. Afterward I heard the judge say something about how I didn't have any cents. I enjoyed the hunt, but as usual I came home empty handed. I have the worse luck of any human being I ever met. I there was a drawing with just me and one other guy and I had a thousand tickets in the pot and he only had one, he'd win! Burdie didn't believe me and I warned him not to sit by me. Sure 'nuff he didn't win either. The next day he wouldn't sit by me and won a nice prize. I guess word got out because now no one will sit by me! When it's time for a drawing, I go and sit in the corner by myself. I was telling that to Kay, my wife, and my little 3 year old grandaughter heard me. She piped up and asked me if I had to go sit in "Time Out"? She is so funny. Monty

I had to do a lot of 'corner time' also,but at least you didn't have to wear that tall pointed hat they made me wear.

Monty, Now remember you was sittin next to Jacob when that man came over and gave Jacob a token from the main hunt! So you didn't bring him bad luck! Remember the guy was on a motorcycle and he didn't want to carry a plate & salsa set home to Wichita with him!

And I am glad you came I had a good time just visiting with you in person again after the long winter.
